Will The iPad Ruin Magazines For Nipple Lovers Everywhere?

Magazines, which have long been heralding the iPad as their knight in shiny, white, Apple-issued armor, have found themselves in a bit of a pickle when it comes to the so-called technological savior of the industry. It looks like glossies planning to launch iPad editions will have to censor all nipples and taboo body-parts in order to ensure inclusion in the App store.

Just think of all the nipples (and bush!) that are now going to end up on the cutting room floor.

(Ed note: Look at Daria! Look at how sad she is now that we can’t see her nipples!)

Fashion insiders (and nipple lovers!) have already taken to calling iPad versions of their publications, “The Iran Edition” because of “the parallels between censorship in the Muslim theocracy and the iTunes store.”

We love the iPad and all its high-tech glossiness, but we’ll be damned if Steve Jobs is going to come between us and our Kate Moss nipples. So, in that sense, the iPad may boost magazine sales after all!
