WATCH: Irina Shayk and Anne V Get Down To Disco For Vs. Magazine
Despite our report earlier today that Irina Shayk has fallen victim to a stalker, the supermodel is still having plenty of fun as evidenced in this new Vs. Magazine short, which just launched to accompany the mag’s sizzling Spring 2013 cover.
The video was directed by photographer Ellen von Unwerth with Shayk and fellow Russian model Anne V paying tribute to the legendary ’60s act the Kessler Twins. The models channeled the blonde bombshells in beehive wigs and wore a number of glittering ‘showgirl’ outfits from the likes of Miu Miu, Agent Provocateur, Patricia Field, and more.
The short begins with Shayk and V getting ready for a show, and then getting progressively more playful in front of the camera. Maybe we’ve watched one too many Marilyn Monroe flicks, but we swear that at one point they are totally channeling the Hollywood icon (as the Kessler Twins often did) in that famous Gentlemen Prefer Blondes getup: pink plus cat-eye frames and popping champagne. At the end, the pair gets into a frolicsome feather boa fight and tear off their wigs. The music may be a decade off, but we love watching the girls get down to some of our favorite ’70 disco classics, such as Kool & The Gang’s “Get Down On It” and The Commodore’s “Brick House.”
Watch the sexy video below, unless you’re Shayk’s stalker, in which case please close this window immediately.
