Iris Apfel Is Selling Pieces Of Her Collection Because She ‘Could Use A Few Shekels’
Ever wanted to own a piece of jewelry that Iris Apfel has worn? Well, if you’ve got the scratch, now you can!

Apfel, the legendary style icon and interior decorator known for unapologetically wearing , is back in business after her drama-tinged line of accessories for HSN. W Magazine reports that this month she’ll partner with Yoox.com to sell not just one but two collections of jewelry. One is a lower-priced line that includes things like “densely layered tea-stained bone necklaces and hefty amber bracelets” and a more expensive group of baubles featuring “glass stone–encrusted frog pins and rhinestone cuffs the size of car headlights.” Headlights, people.

But to add to the collection’s charm, she’s adding a few pieces she’s collected over her 90-year lifespan — but those pieces will are going for a very pretty penny. Not just because of their sentimental value: Iris has to eat, too, you know:
“There comes a point when you need space,” she reasons. “Plus, I could use a few shekels”
