Are J.C. Penney And Cosmo Collaborating On A Lingerie Line?

In today’s installment of unexpected collaborations, J.C. Penney and Cosmopolitan are working on a line of accessories and lingerie, set to launch this fall. Naturally.

J.C. Penney was hit with a $40 million lawsuit last week, but it doesn’t look like the retailer is letting it affect business. WWD reports that Cosmo‘s fashion director Michelle McCool and some of the magazine’s other staffers headed to J.C. Penney’s headquarters in Texas to consult on the line.

Reps from both companies declined requests for comments and pictures of the line have yet to be released, though we imagine the products to be relatively modest — it’s J.C. Penney after all. We’ll keep you updated on this collab, but do tell us if you’ll be buying Cosmo-branded bags and undies in the comments.
