Jean Paul Gaultier released a new commercial for his collaboration with Diet Coke, and it’s a snoozefest!
The French designer became the European creative director of Diet Coke a few weeks ago and created three limited edition bottle designs. Two styles — Gaultier’s signature sailor stripes and a lace corset with a cone bra — have already been released, while a third design of a tattoo motif will be released this summer. To celebrate, Gaultier hosted a party at a fancy Parisian club last night where, WWDaccording to WWD, he wore a black wig. Of course. But back to the commercial.
Unlike the first two totally wacky ones that JPG released (here and here), the new 11-second video is really boring. Three bottles being spun around on a Lazy Susan? Yawn. Bring back the creepy doll!
