Girls’ Jemima Kirke Plays with Pigments for Scosha Jewelry
Pigments kinda terrify us. Not only are they are clothes-ruining, they also call to mind foggy, rainbow-drenched memories of fist-pumping to bad electronica in a sea of other people’s sweat. But this Fall 2013 campaign by local-via-Australia jewelry brand Scosha is quickly changing the way we look at those tiny pottles of potential disaster.
Part of this is due to the campaign being fronted by Girls star and owner of excellent DNA Jemima Kirke. Kirke somehow manages to consistently toe the line between coke-discussing controversy stirrer and dreamy fashion darling, and brings a little edge to this Rainbow Brite lookbook. The jewelry itself is delicately bohemian and seems to look best when approached with the same ethos as pigment: It looks better when you just pile it on and go nuts.
