In the latest chapter of Doré’s Pardon My French, she lunches at the Meatpacking District’s Standard Hotel with everyone’s favorite fashion insider. The creative director of J. Crew reveals her first fashion job (which was, naturally, at that very retailer), her style evolution, what it was like growing up in an unfashionable beach town, and a whole lot more.

The vid gives us a glimpse into the lives of both ladies, and it’s interesting and inspiring to hear stories of how they struggled before making it big in fashion. Yep, we’ve watched it several times already:
