Jennifer Hudson in Versace: Glamorous Or Garish?

We’re totally split on Jennifer Hudson‘s tangerine-red Versace gown. It almost works, you know? But then it doesn’t.

First of all, the fabric looks cheap. Secondly, it’s not particularly flattering to her chest. That dress just simply doesn’t fit! Yet it’s still glam! And her hair is kind of wack, but her bling is pretty great. But she also appears to have covered her skin in sparkles. Ugh, we just don’t know what to think. Do you?

Seriously, how could Versace look cheap? Get a life! It’s so easy to be there, hidden behind your computer, ripping celebrities outfits into shred, in the name of journalism or blogging, how would you have looked on the Red Carpet? How do you even look, glamed up or not?

I thought she looked fab. The reference is late 50′s glam from head to toe. However, the dress could have fit better along her bustline.
