Jennifer Lawrence Says SAG Awards Stumble Was ‘A Stunt’

Jennifer Lawrence has at last spoken out about her dress mishap at last weekend’s SAG Awards, and not without a touch of sass about how much coverage the issue has gotten.
The Christian Dior dress did indeed have the same sheer connecting panel as those that appeared on the collection’s runway show, and as Lawrence stumbled on her way to collect an award for Silver Linings Playbook, she exposed that portion of the dress. Meaning? We can breathe easy! The couture is intact!
She also joked to Vogue that the move was intentional: “I was concerned people would start talking about the award that I won, and my acting, so I thought I’d pull a stunt just to get things back to where they need to be.”
Roll your eyes all you want at us, Jen. You keep looking good (and pulling hilariously endearing stunts in the heart of snobby Hollywood) and we’ll keep writing about it.
