Do You Love Or Loathe Jennifer Lawrence’s Dior Couture Gown?

As we’d all expected, Jennifer Lawrence wore Christian Dior Couture to the Oscars tonight. The 22-year-old Silver Linings Playbook star can do no wrong, but we’re a little torn on this look.

On its own, the pale pink Dior couture number seems a bit like a super fancy wedding gown. It’s strapless, borderline white, and has a princess silhouette. But of course, that thought must’ve ran through both Raf Simons and Lawrence’s mind. So, instead of pairing the gown with, say, wavy hair and a diamond pendant, the actress worked a textured do’, dazzling Chopard earrings, and an understated diamond necklace that hung down the back of her neck. Well, ok, the necklace wasn’t really all that understated — it was 74 carats!
