Sorry, Vogue: Jennifer Lawrence’s Bazaar Spread is Her Best Yet [Updated]
Harper’s Bazaar have been doing beautiful things with Vogue‘s sloppy seconds recently. And while Jennifer Lawrence’s September issue Vogue cover was pretty stunning, it pales in comparison to her couture-heavy Bazaar UK November 2013 cover.
The Ben Hassett-lensed cover (and bonus subscription cover) is Lawrence as elegant as we’ve ever seen her. It also comes right off the back of news she’ll be appearing in Dumb & Dumber 2 as a younger Kathleen Turner, proving our suspicions that there can never be too much J-Law.
UPDATE: The accompanying spread, styled by Julia von Boehm and titled ‘Playing the Game’, has now been released. It’s — brace yourselves — just as gorgeous as the covers gave you license to expect. Lawrence wears Haute Couture by Alexis Mabille, Valentino, Dior and Christian Lacroix for Schiaparelli along with some casual $25,000 diamond rings, and there is nary a motorcycle to be seen.
