PHOTOS: Is This Jennifer Lawrence’s First Red Carpet Flop?

Jennifer Lawrence has been killing it on the red carpets lately, which makes sense considering her stylist, Elizabeth Stewart, was recently ranked fourth on The Hollywood Reporter’s Most Powerful Stylists list. But her latest ensemble, worn to The Hunger Games premiere in Madrid on Monday, may well be her first sartorial misfire.

Lawrence wore a color-blocked mini dress by Victoria Beckham featuring a pleated skirt and a myriad of textures. The issue isn’t with the design of the dress (though it’s not our favorite), but with its wrinkled fit, awkward cut, and Stewart’s choice of black ankle booties. Though her previous looks have been ultra-glamorous — the gold, cut-out Prabal Gurung gown was actually Oscar-worthy — Lawrence always looked elegant and comfortable. Last night, she looked neither.

Check it out below — as well as how it looked on the model at Beckham’s fall 2012 presentation — and let us know what you think.

The dress is definately a flop, but I’d be more concerned about the model. If she gets much skinnier, she’ll soon be at death’s door.

I think she looks great. The pose is just awkward.

    looks cute as a button

I think she looks great.  Yes, someone should have steamed the wrinkles out.  as for the boots they were similar to the boots the model wore on the runway.

its cute. I’ve seen MUCH worse. Perhaps better for a lunch date

I think it’s adorable and age appropriate.  I think the booties are a bit too high, if anything…

    No. Katniss doesn’t flop.
