PHOTOS: What Do You Think Of Jessica Alba’s ELLE Cover?
Elle‘s December 2010 cover has some nouns that we normally like. Jessica Alba is a pretty woman. Christian Dior is a gorgeous international brand with an amazing history. And when has sunshine ever not been a good thing?
Put them together, though, and what you have is a cover that leaves us very confused. Why do Alba’s eyes look so different in this picture than they do in others? Why, in December, are we outside splashing around poolside in the sunlight? And what is this pink, 60s-inspired, tweed-looking top that Alba’s wearing?
Now, for the last several years, Elle‘s December covers have featured clothes that you’d freeze to death in, but those all have a white background which makes the cover look more crisp than cold. That Alba is actually pictured outside sends a weird cross-seasonal message that we’re having a hard time dealing with.
Be sure to let us know what you think about the cover, photos from Alba in the magazine and the last few December covers from Elle. We can’t say we like this one, but hey — we’ve seen worse.
