Jessica Biel Dons Christian Dior Couture For Total Recall Premiere
Following in the well-heeled footsteps of Marion Cotillard and Rachel Weisz, Jessica Biel is the third person to wear a Christian Dior couture dress from Raf Simons‘s debut show. The future Mrs. Timberlake donned a pink strapless creation (with pockets!) at the west coast premiere of Total Recall. Biel paired her frock with kickass Tom Binns baubles, Louis Vuitton captoe heels, and a Jimmy Choo clutch. Naturally, we have thoughts.
We totally dig the ultra feminine silhouette of the dress and the metallic tip of Biel’s heels, but we wouldn’t have worn the earrings and necklace together. As much as we love statement jewelry, the baubles are a bit too much, especially when they’re in close proximity to each other. Instead, Biel could’ve flaunted her décolletage by ditching the chunky pearl necklace (or giving it to us), or losing the earrings (again, we know of a great home) and letting the necklace shine. She also could have left that clutch at home — the dress has pockets for a reason!
Total Recall star Kate Beckinsale was also in attendance, but her Armani Privé dress missed the mark. The sculptural python-printed gown (at least we hope it’s a print) was indeed dramatic, but also confusing and unflattering.
Other outfits that deserve a shoutout: Aisha Tyler‘s sleek black gown with a mock turtleneck and Sophia Bush‘s modern tuxedo outfit.
