If your love for actress, comedienne and chief of the Fashion Police Joan Rivers was not already deep and profound like a river, it’s about to be. Who else could get away with skewering not one, not two, but three national treasures in under two minutes on The Late Show With David Letterman?
That’s exactly what Rivers did on last night’s show. In rapid succession she made so much fun of herself and fellow actresses Goldie Hawn, Joan Collins and America’s sweetheart Betty White — and Letterman was so overwhelmed by the force of her jokes that he basically sat there and just let her do it. Respect your elders, as they say.
Anyway, we’re not going to spoil any of the jokes for you, but we do want you to be prepared for this, so sit down, tell your coworkers that you’re on a call and try not to die from laughter.
