John Galliano’s Christmas Tree Belongs Underwater
Just like your annoyingly chipper next-door neighbors, John Galliano has already started to unveil his Christmas decorations. The designer decorated a tree for the lobby of Claridge’s hotel in London and showed it off last night at a dinner hosted there by model Stella Tennant and Christian Dior CEO Sidney Toledano.
But Galliano’s tree is a big departure from your standard, pointy evergreen — it’s an underwater paradise filled with giant seahorses and jellyfish swimming around brightly colored coral. Of course, when Galliano decorated the Claridge’s tree last year, he put a blue leopard on it, so we guess we shouldn’t have expected anything traditional.
It’s not exactly what we’d want by our fireplace, but it’s certainly going to get a lot of conversations started. So, we have to ask:
