BREAKING: Julia Restoin-Roitfeld Is Pregnant!
In what is probably the happiest news we’ve heard all day, Julia Restoin-Roitfeld, daughter of ultra-chic former Vogue Paris editor Carine Roitfeld, has revealed that she is going to have a baby!

Fashion writer Derek Blasberg tweeted this morning that Restoin-Roitfeld told him “she’s going to be a mother.” Roitfeld, who turns 31 today, has been dating model 36-year-old Swedish model Robert Konjic for the last few years. The mom-to-be told The Daily Telegraph in March that she and Konjic don’t have plans to marry, but that she’s very happy with him. (Worth noting: her mother and designer Christian Restoin have been happily unmarried for over 30 years.)

“I don’t think he wants to get married again – he’s done it and it didn’t work out for him,” Restoin said. “I’m really close to my family and I really want one of my own. But the wedding, it’s not necessary for me.”
You do you, Julia. Of course there’s really no other news about the child — but with a designer grandfather, a stylist grandmother, an art dealer uncle, and two parents who have both been professional models, this kid’s life is going to be an aesthetic dream. Mazel tov!
