Julian Assange, What Are You Going To Wear To Court?

While the legal details of Julian Assange’s sexual harassment charges have obfuscated left and right (and while his guilt or innocence has yet to be determined by an actual court of law), the fact remains that the man is going to have to go to court. And any person with common sense will tell you that a having a court date, even in Sweden, means hauling out a suit and trying to look good while all of your worst fears and darkest secrets are aired right in front of your face.

But a man of international renown (no matter how ambiguous that renown is or isn’t) should do more than just throw on a black suit and tie and call it a day — even if that’s what most other celebrities do when they’re on trial. Instead, Assange should put his best, government-secret-revealingest foot forward and present himself the way he wants to be seen, a description which probably involves the words serious, somber and innocent. Herein, a few pieces of fashion that should help Assange do just that.
