Brazilian Mag Shops Tons Of Makeup On Justin Bieber’s Face
UPDATE: TodaTeen released a statement saying that it did not do anything to alter Bieber’s face, blaming those smoky eyes to a computer glitch. Mmhmm.
We could not help noticing your comments and tweets from the picture of Justin on the cover of Star Todateen. We would like to say that there was no change made in the area of the singer’s eyes. We had a technical problem that darkens certain areas of the photo. We also want to say that all of us find Justin very naturally beautiful. We’d never think it’s necessary to alter pictures of him. Natural beauty says it all, right?

With all of Justin Bieber‘s forays into the beauty business, it was really only a matter of time before a South American teen zine shopped an almost offensive amount of lip gloss onto the Canadian pop sensation’s lips.
No, really – that’s exactly what happened to the Biebs on the cover of todateen Star, which as far as we can tell is Brazil’s answer to J-14. The cover lines are in Portuguese, so we can’t read them, but what’s plain to the see is how flawlessly robotic and, well, womanly Bieber looks with that pale pink lip gloss and a well-applied smoky eye worthy only of Taylor Momsen. That he’s wearing an entire Estee Lauder counter’s worth of foundation is, well, just really really funny.
It’s not a Photoshop disaster at the magnitude of, say, chopping off an arm to make a waist look smaller, but it’s still pretty remarkable. We foresee 14-year-old boys the world over worrying about under-eye puffiness, starting now.
