Justin Bieber Wears Weird Things, Sings Awesome Songs On Today

A very important thing just happened: Justin Bieber went on the Today Show to debut tracks from his new album Believe, due out Tuesday.

We’ve listened to the whole thing thanks to friends in high places (slash a fortuitous download link sent via Gchat), and it RULES. We’ve read all about the New and Adultish Bieber in both Complex and GQ, but he really does deliver on the album. Think less Justin Timberlake (though “Boyfriend” had us fooled), and more Michael Jackson.

And to celebrate his new release, Bieber hung out with Matt Lauer and the gang this morning. He continued to wear questionable jackets (this time an odd denim number raised our eyebrows), and slipped into a white vest/white harem pant combo to perform. However, he quickly switched out the white bottoms for tight black ones, and all was made a bit better. Black Karl gloves were also involved.

We’ve rounded up all the essential clips below. (You are very welcome.)

First, allow your heart to melt as Justin is interviewed with his most precious fan:

Here he deflects questions about his love life despite a decent grilling my Lauer, and then teaches the host how to tweet:
