Vanity Fair Bumped Justin Timberlake Cover For Will And Kate

It looks like Vanity Fair might have to send Mr. Timberlake a fruit basket because it turns out he was bumped from the July cover of Vanity Fair. Who took his place? The royal couple, of course. We revealed Will and Kate’s Vanity Fair cover last month: the long-awaited, never-before-seen photo from Mario Testino‘s engagement portraits. As much as we love the Prince and Princess, we don’t love the cover — and now we know it wasn’t even the original!

Timberlake’s cover was shot by Norman Jean Roy and the star was profiled by Vanessa Grigoriadis for the issue. Timberlake, who was said to be “very happy with Vanessa’s story and Mr. Roy’s photos,” was shot in a mid-century Americana inspired spread with model-extraordinaire, Lara Stone. Check out a slideshow of his shoot with Stone below; we have to admit, these pictures are pretty incredible. Sexual tension, anyone? That said, we can’t help but think Will and Kate’s cover was the most timely of the two. Now, if only they’d used a different image.

In an article which appeared on this site on June 10th it was stated that Kate’s title was Duchess of Cambridge , so why do you still insist on calling her a Princess?  One cannot be called Princess unless born to royalty which the Duchess was not.

Sorry not sorry (that Justin was bumped).

In Styleite’s aforementioned post on the Vanity Fare cover that Justin did not snag Julia mentioned that Katie Nicholl wrote that “Will made it clear at the wedding that he will continue to be addressed
as Prince William, meaning Kate by default will be Princess Catherine.” So why do you insist on being a rude smarty pants?

Although, I guess he could be Prince and she could be Dutchess but that seems awkward.

I do not care either way, but technically, she is only Princess William of Wales NOT Princess Catherine.  The princess title merely acknowledges that her husband is a prince, not that she is a princess on her own.
