PHOTOS: Justin Timberlake Debuts Surprising New ‘Do!

Claire Danes’ My So-Called Life-inspired lip look aside, Justin Timberlake’s hair was hands down the most pleasant surprise of the evening.

The singer-turned-actor-turned-singer bucked the suit-and-bowtie status quo on the red carpet in a grey and brown checked suit, but in spite of the busy print, it was Timberlake’s hair that snagged our eye. Slick-straight and with volume galore, JT’s coif was a new look for the curly-haired star — and we’re decidedly on board. We just can’t help but wonder how long it took him (and his hair team) to make it happen.
