Kanye West Won’t Be Showing His Line At New York Fashion Week
We’ve got good news and we’ve got bad news. The good news: Kanye West is pretty much almost definitely debuting a clothing line during fashion week.* The bad news: it’s not happening in New York.
According to Wayne Sterling from The Imagist, West started casting for the show last week. On August 31, Sterling tweeted:
The even bigger news came yesterday, when Sterling reported that West was working with an “ultra-power stylist” to style the show which, and here comes the bad news, will be showing in Paris.
West, you may remember, is reportedly working with knitwear designer Louise Goldin as well as Christine Centenera, the fashion editor at Harper’s Bazaar Australia. While we’re pretty crushed that we won’t be able to see West bow his line in person, the upside is: at least this way we know for sure we weren’t not invited.
