PHOTO: Riccardo Tisci Designed Kanye’s New Album Art

We used to love Givenchy‘s Riccardo Tisci because of the detailed and highly original clothes he made. Now we love him because he’s working with Kanye West.

On Tuesday, when our beloved ‘Ye drops H.A.M. the first single from Watch The Throne, the album he’s working on with Jay-Z, the six billion or so people who buy download a copy will no doubt be so entranced by the dark beauty and symbolism of Tisci’s cover that they’ll forget they’re looking at something they’re supposed to listen to. At least momentarily. The rottweilers, crowns, stars and many beveled edges are arresting, to be sure. And while we don’t like to judge books by their covers, we’re pretty sure that the craziness the song is wrapped in will reflect what it actually sounds like.

H.A.M. will be released next Tuesday. What do you think? Does this insanely good album art make for an insanely good album?

[Editor's Note: For what it's worth, "H.A.M." is pronounced "ham" and stands for "hard as a motherfucker." Here are some examples of how one would use it in a sentence:

"He went H.A.M. on the booze last night."
"I'm about to go H.A.M. on my boss."

You can thank us later when attempting to decode West's future H.A.M. tweets.]
