You Can Buy A Nameplate Necklace From Kanye’s First Fashion Show

Kanye West sent many a few questionable item down the runway during his very first fashion show back in October. His nameplate necklaces were among the less questionable.

Not only did they result in one of our favorite New York Times corrections of all time (An earlier version of this post incorrectly stated the name on Mr. West’s chain. It is “Yeezy,” not “Weezy.”), they also struck Anna Dello Russo‘s fancy. Kanye wore one with Balmain jeans to Occupy Wall Street, and now you too can own the gold necklace.

Contrary to what we (and the Times) believed, the nameplate actually reads “Yeezi” with an I. It was made by Jacob & Co, and will be sold at Colette. No word on the price, though the Giuseppe Zanotti heels Kanye designed are sold at the hip Paris boutique for $5,883.

We don’t think we’d wear a Kanye nameplate, but we have to admit it would look mighty nice with one of those awesome ballerina scarves.
