Did The Kardashians Knock-Off This Botkier Bag For Their Sears Line?

Yikes! The Kardashians didn’t really strike us as the thieving kind, but their ‘Kollection’ for Sears features a leopard print bag that bears a striking resemblance to the Botkier’s 2009 ‘Clyde’ bag.

A post titled “K Is For Knock-Off” (ouch!) was posted on Botkier’s blog yesterday. “We just dicovered … how our Botkier ‘Clyde’ was simply copied by Kardashian Kollection for Sears. They say imitation is the highest form of flattery but we don’t think so,” the post reads.

And if the sister’s think they’re getting off clean with the copy, they should think again. According to Fashionista, Botkier has already sent a cease and desist letter to Sears. The brand also plans to enlist the help of the counterfeit-crushing CFDA, having participated in its “You Can’t Fake Fashion” campaign.
