Kardashians To Launch Kardashian-Themed Magazine
Just when you thought press coverage of Operation Kardashian couldn’t get any more rampant, the family’s figurehead has decided that she’s going to jump into the fray. That’s right, kiddies: Kim Kardashian is getting into the publishing business with a magazine about her own family. And what’s worse is that they’re suing the media company they’ve asked to help start it.

Page Six reports that while the Kardashian machine won’t talk about their new magazine to the press yet, they have talked with American Media — the company that owns Star and The National Enquirer — about getting the magazine up and running. The family wouldn’t necessarily be writing articles for the magazine, but they do want to be “heavily involved editorially.” Meanwhile, mama bear Kris Jenner would have a none-too-casual role in overseeing the whole thing.
But if the aim of this new venture is to direct how the Kardashian family gets covered in the press, we’re betting there won’t be any stories about the Kardashian’s lawsuit against Star magazine (which American Media owns) over printing accusations that the family’s shoe and clothing lines are made by children in Chinese sweatshops. Yeah. Probably not gonna mention that at all.

Anyway, mysterious sources say the family and the company are close to a deal. Maybe the terms will include the family dropping their lawsuit against Star? We can’t imagine American Media funneling money to the Kardashians just to have them turn it back around and use it to sue one of their other properties. A house divided simply cannot stand.
