Kim & Khloe Kardashian Are Being Sued Over A Diet Supplement

The Kardashians just can’t seem to escape legal trouble. Last year Kim, Khloe, and Kourtney (and the ever-present Kris Jenner) were sued for a whopping $75 million for ending a contract with a shady children’s credit card company. Now it looks like Kim and Khloe are going to be sued once more, this time over QuickTrim, a diet supplement they shill for.

According to Page Six, the complaint centers around the product’s high caffeine levels. Law firm Bursor & Fisher are preparing a class-action case against the sisters, claiming “the FDA has determined that caffeine is not safe or effective for weight loss”. The firm has previously won cases involving weight loss formula Xenadrine and hair regrowth product Avacor. The girls have reportedly made $45 million off of the 3-year-old deal.

That’s not to say the Kardashians don’t know how to put up a fight. In the past few months alone, Kim has sued Old Navy and the family has begun libel proceedings in response to child labor claims. However, QuickTrim does sound mighty suspicious.
