What’s It Like Being Karl Lagerfeld’s Muse? In A Word: Exhausting
As if this comes as any surprise, it ain’t easy being Karl Lagerfeld‘s muse.
Lady Amanda Harlech spends her time jetting around the world in order to be the freshly-waxed Kaiser’s second set of eyes, according to the Daily Telegraph. Harlech’s father told The Sunday Times that Harlech “works all day, eats dinner at 3 a.m., when I’m sure she’d like to be in bed, and in between there are emails and texts and phone calls because [Lagerfeld] never stops”.
He also said that she probably spends nine months of the year away from home because she’s always at Karl’s beck and call. But she does spend a fair chunk of that time in her suite at the Ritz in Paris wearing Chanel haute couture, so maybe it isn’t all bad.
