Karl Lagerfeld Likes Michelle Obama’s Face (But Not Her Clothes)
Karl, Karl, Karl. As long as he keeps giving interviews (and he loves giving interviews), Karl Lagerfeld will keep saying wonderfully alien-like things. This go around he has some thoughts on Michelle Obama.
But seriously, this is what he told USA Today:
“I love Madame Obama, but not in terms of clothes. I like her face, the cleverness of her face. Her face is stronger than the clothes.”
As per usual, he said this while sipping on a Diet Coke. We really like Michelle’s face too, but we also think lots of things about her clothes. (We really like them, duh.) Also, have you ever wondered what Karl wears to sleep? We sure didn’t, but now we know he probably looks as weird as he does glassesless.
“I sleep in a long nightshirt, and in the morning, I work in them because if I get dressed and start to sketch — sketching is a dirty job with color — I would be completely dirty.”
