Karl Lagerfeld Shoots Chanel Ad Campaign On LES (VIDEO)

For the last two days, breathless New York-based bloggers (ourselves included!) have been following the Internet’s every update of Karl Lagerfeld’s presence in the city. On Wednesday morning, he was spotted at SoHo’s Mercer Hotel, later that afternoon he was snapped shooting a model who Fashionologie suspects is Abbey Lee Kershaw, decked out in the Kaiser’s Fall / Winter 2010 fur and tweed. Then Models.com posted to their Facebook profile an image of Lagerfeld photographing Kershaw and Freja Beha Erichsen, both perched on a tenement fire escape on Orchard Street.

And now, the piece de resistance of this piecemeal coverage comes via Nitro:licious: video of Karl himself, first being lowered in a bucket crane and then, well, walking around and doing what one does on a photoshoot. It’s mesmerizing.
