  The royals may have been able to get French journal Closer to comply because of tough privacy laws in that nation there but it seems for now the Royals will have to bear and grin it and understand that as distasteful as some would deem it they are public figures and the media will attempt at all times to disclose as much about them as possible even if it betrays certain decorum or what is perceived as appropriate media content, then again let’s define freedom of speech and whether we would even be making bones about these images if it wasn’t Kate Middleton but say a B rated celebrity instead….?

  While I may live in the US photo’s of the future Queen of England should NOT be posted in any publication. It is distasteful at it’s best. Sorry, I may be a yank but even so, I am among the few that wouldn’t post them. While I would imagine the US would post them I would hope the UK and other EU nations would not post photo’s of any royals of any EU nations.

  While nude bathing is a very European rite any pictures or photo’s taken there, especially of those that didn’t want theirs to appear need to have a signed release before they are posted in any publication. I can tell you that I’m 100% positive that Kate didn’t want her’s posted. I guess that you could say it this way. You can print anything you want about the Royals after they are 18, but their photo’s that aren’t flattering are out of bounds.

  If you wonder what is printable….
  It can be answered by two questions depending the reporters age.
  1. Would you print pictures like these of your wife?
  2. Would you print pictures like these of your daughter?
  You answer either of these questions NO. Then you can learn that you can’t post pics like these anywhere.

Why should she get special treatment in the press/media because she married someone who has been genetically determined to be the King of England someday? No one seems to have problems posting leaked, and often times stolen, nude pictures of people like Snooki, Vanessa Hudgens, etc. As far as I know, the bans on the photographs doesn’t apply to us in the US, and neither does the Lord Leveson Inquiry, so it makes no sense from an American perspective to voluntarily censor yourself–especially when there is a video of a man committing suicide on this same site! I guess a man’s life is less controversial than a princess’s bum.

  I think it is disgusting that people would do something like that. It isn’t as if Kate was at a bar or hotel room with other people. She was far away with her husband. I am sure her bottom or top isn’t any different looking than any other woman and I think these people are sickos that would do anything for money. It isn’t as if Kate was seeking this attention.   I’d be much more upset that someone who could take that photo could also have shot the next King of England…forget about the booty…I mean, what did you think it looked like? Does it look any different than any other very nice looking young woman? NO, so what? Who cares…jeez…such a big deal over nothing.

  BUT getting within gun shot of the couple…that’s a problem that needs addressing.
