Buy The Hat Right Off Of Kate Middleton’s Head!

Middleton, ahoy! We hope you didn’t blow all of your savings on Jubilee gear for this weekend, because it has come to our attention that two hats worn by Duchess Catherine in her pre-royalty days will be up for auction later this month. That’s right – you now have the chance to wear the exact same hat that once adorned Ms. Middleton’s head. A far preferable alternative to owning Queen Elizabeth II‘s old underwear, in our humble opinion. And just think of the bragging rights you’ll earn at next year’s Kentucky Derby!

This kind of opportunity doesn’t come cheap, however – the straw hats, by milliners Philip Somerville and Aurora, are expected to fetch between £1,000 and £1,500 each at Kerry Taylor‘s Passion for Fashion auction. As you may recall, last year the same auction house sold the dress/sheer bit of fabric Middleton wore in a 2002 student fashion show for a whopping $105,000.

The gavel goes down on the hats June 26th at 2PM, so start scrounging your pence!
