The Duke And Duchess Of Cambridge Leave For Canada In Matching Suits

Prince William and Kate Middleton officially departed for their Canadian tour this morning wearing a pair of matching suits. Okay, so they’re not identical, but they’re both navy! And though certainly classy, also kind of boring. More interesting, however, is the fact that Middleton appears to be following in Michelle Obama’s footsteps and paying sartorial homage to her country of destination.

Princess Prettyhair paired a Roland Mouret sheath dress with a navy blazer from Canadian brand Smythe, which currently retails at Neiman Marcus for $595. Middleton also wore Manolo Blahnik pumps and carried a $1400 Mulberry Polly Push bag, which unofficially makes the entire ensemble one of her most expensive to date.

Clearly no one can say that Kate looks bad but is anyone else feelings a little bored by her offerings?
