PHOTOS: Kate Middleton Repeats Last Year’s Remembrance Day Coat
This weekend marked not only one, but two public appearances by Queen Elizabeth. After wearing a trendy sheer coat over a simple cream dress on Saturday, Liz bundled up in a black for a Remembrance Sunday service with the rest of the Royals. Of course, it should also come as no surprise that Kate Middleton wore an ensemble of repeats.
On Sunday, Kate stuck with her tried-and-true pieces and pulled out the same black double-breasted Diane von Furstenberg coat she wore to last year’s Remembrance Day ceremony, gloves with bow detailing on the side by Black (and are now on back order, obviously), a black wide-brimmed chapeau by Philip Treacy, which she wore in 2006, and a blinged out poppy pin, which looks like a larger version of this style. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it!
