Kate’s Royal Wedding Dress Is Going On Display For All To See!
Kate is planning to publicly display the now-iconic gown, though the exact location of its exhibition is still under consideration. Several of Princess Diana‘s dresses have been shown at Kensington Palace, so perhaps Kate will follow suit? Others think she may choose to exhibit it at London’s Victoria & Albert Museum.
While we understand she probably wants to keep the frock in Britain, may we suggest New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art? The Met sure knows a thing or two about exhibiting McQueen wares. Regardless, Clarence House explains: “The Duchess of Cambridge is considering a number of options to give members of the public the opportunity to see, close up, the skilled British craftsmanship that went into the making of her wedding dress by Sarah Burton and her team as well as the Royal School of Needlework.”
If it is displayed across the pond, maybe we’ll have to consider a brief transatlantic jaunt?
