And This Is What Happened At Kate Moss’s Bachelorette Party
Did you think your bachelorette party was fun, raucous and expensive? Because we can more or less guarantee that it was not nearly as fun, raucous and expensive as the hen weekend party Kate Moss threw for 30 of her friends at the Isle of Wight Festival over the past few days.
And that’s because there was nothing about this party that wasn’t just damn cool. Moss and company (company includes Daphne Guinness, Jade Jagger, Sadie Frost and Allison Mosshart, just in case you were wondering) rolled up to the music festival what Grazia describes as two “giant pink Hummers.” They were then ushered into a VIP area backstage where by some accounts they consumed between 120 and 180 bottles of Mahiki rum during their stay.
When they weren’t getting their drink on behind the scenes, the group was ferreted around the festival in golf carts with vanity plates labeled KM1 and KM2. They saw performances by Kings of Leon, Kaiser Chiefs, Iggy Pop and the Foo Fighters. Moss rested up between concerts at a nearby cottage (cottage being one of those relative real estate terms, of course) and had lunch with all of her guests at the Priory Bay Hotel, which we hear serves some of the best oysters in Britain. Which, yum.
If that wasn’t enough to make you jealous, well, we want to know who you are so we can come and party with you! And if this is what Moss’s bachelorette party was like, we can only imagine how fun her wedding reception will be. We can expect to report on that in about three weeks.
