Kate Moss’s September Vogue Spread Is Inspired By SATC

A couple of months ago, we broke the news that Kate Moss would be covering Vogue‘s September issue. The rumors were all but confirmed a month later, when we heard Moss’s blowout wedding would be the backdrop for the Mario Testino photo shoot. Now some more details have emerged: Kate might be pulling a Carrie Bradshaw for the glossy. Ugh.

Page Six is reporting that Anna Wintour had 10 designers (including Vera Wang, Valentino, and Oscar de la Renta) pick out their “ideal” dresses for the supermodel, and then had Testino photograph Kate in the designs, as well as her actual John Galliano gown. Sound familiar? Yup, it’s pretty much the exact same thing that happens to Carrie in the first Sex and the City movie. (If you’ll recall, Carrie gets to keep the Vivienne Westwood dress.)

Here, allow us to refresh your memory:

LAME! This has been done before! And in a cheesy movie! Of course, Vogue is keeping mum.
