Kate Moss Reading Fifty Shades Is Awesome, But So Awkward
We already know that Kate Moss is not much of a speaker, but the supermodel will do it anyway in the name of charity. This morning, Moss stopped by Nick Grimshaw’s Radio 1 show and “opened that mouth of hers” to read Fifty Shades of Grey. And yes, it was awesome.
Grimshaw asked his audience to donate £200,000, or around $300,000, to the charity organization Comic Relief and, in return, Moss would read a passage from the popular erotica novel. Of course, Grimshaw’s audience surpassed the target donation. What happened next is nothing short of awkward and awesome, and even the super herself was all like “Ahh!” afterward. Sidenote: we’d like to give props to whoever thought of putting on Henry Mancini’s “Love Story” in the background — brilliant.
