Did Kate Moss Get Married In A Secret Summer Wedding?
Stop the presses! Rumor has it that Kate Moss has tied the knot in a super secret and barefoot wedding in Sicily. Wait, what?
The Mirror reports that Moss married her longtime boyfriend and Kills guitarist Jamie Hince in Sicily on August 7. According to their source, Moss’ daughter (with Dazed and Confused editor and pot-brownie aficionado Jefferson Hack) Lila Grace was a ring bearer. More details: Moss wore a see-through dress, no makeup, and no shoes; the ceremony took place in a “picturesque church”; and minutes after tying the knot, the happy couple was outside “dancing under the trees.”
Back in August, Moss and Hince were spotted with matching anchor tattoos on their wrists and wearing gold bands on their wedding fingers — though wearing a ring on her fourth finger is not necessarily uncommon for Moss.
It’s worth noting that the couple did spend two weeks travelling through Italy in August.
Based on nothing but our unhealthy obsession with Moss, the wedding does sound like something she would do — and, if true, we have to congratulate her for managing to pull off what so many celebs try and fail to do: a secret wedding! Keeping things under wraps for more than two months (especially when you’re as high profile as Moss) is no small feat.
We hope she continues to deny the wedding — just for the fun of it. Because if there’s one thing Moss knows how to do, it’s keep people (and the press) on their toes. Mazel tov!
