PHOTOS: Kate & Prince William Wear Matching Outfits In Scotland
Kate and Prince William looked quite posh during their trip to North America last month, so we’ll forgive this little misstep. What misstep, you ask? The one in which they dressed almost exactly alike.
The royal couple hung out in Scotland for a bit of R&R following Zara Phillip‘s wedding, staying at the Queen’s pad in Edinburgh. While they were there, they strolled hand-in-hand in Holyrood Park…in matching outfits. Oh, man. Both the Duke and the Duchess of Cambridge donned purple sweaters over white collared shirts. At least they didn’t wear Canadian tuxedoes?
Though Will went with khakis and Catherine with her fave J Brand skinnies, they still look way too matchy-matchy! Normally we would also pick on their choice of footwear, but we’ll call their sneakers utilitarian since perhaps this is their exercise for the day or whatever? (We also rather like William’s Asics. And his glasses, because how cute are boys in glasses?)
