Prince William Gifts Kate With Princess Diana’s Favorite Earrings

Prince William proposed to his now-wife Kate with Princess Diana‘s sapphire and diamond engagement ring, and it looks like he’s also gifted her with coordinating earrings from his late mother.

Kate’s been seen wearing a reworked version of Diana’s favorite pair, sapphire and diamond studs that the Duchess had remade into drop earrings. Explained a courtier (yes, a courtier!) to the Daily Mirror: ”Now they’re married, William wanted her to have some of his mother’s favorite pieces.” And the Catherine-Diana connections continue!
