Kate Upton, Her Boobs, And A Popsicle Front GQ
Kate Upton fronts the cover of GQ‘s July issue, and we think the mag took the easy way out. We get the Fourth of July references, but the barely-there bikini top and suggestive popsicle pose are comically tacky. Oh, and it gets better (worse?) inside the issue.
We thought the cover was literal, but the glossy takes it one step further by “styling” Upton in super skimpy outfits for the spread. In one pic, she wears a wet crop top (yes, there’s visible nipple), and in another, she lounges in a two-tone string bikini that barely covers anything. Perhaps our favorite photo is of Upton literally wearing nothing at all! At least she wore clothes in her Harper’s Bazaar editorial. And if you couldn’t figure it out by now, the GQ cover and spread were photographed by none other than Terry Richardson.
Upton also talked about her male fans:
“I grew up in Florida riding horses, so for the majority of my life, I was either in boots and jeans or a bathing suit. I understand why my male followers like me.”
Sure. And then, she tells a hilarious story about the shoot:
“For the GQ photo shoot, we were on that ride where the seat spins while the actual ride is spinning, and I’m wearing a one-piece. And all of a sudden the whole entire top falls off! I’m holding myself, laughing, turning bright red, but a lot of people are watching, so they kicked us out of the Santa Monica Pier — it was so embarrassing. You wouldn’t think that would happen with a one-piece!“
That’s probably the white monokini in the second to last slide — we can see why it fell off. Anyway, nothing says America like a pair of boobs half-naked lady eating a sandwich, and doing other things, so enjoy.
