Kate Upton‘s Vogue Italia cover is quite a coup for the model, and certainly gives her more street cred with the fashion pack. But she just can’t break free of the things her mama gave her, and the mag’s cover and editorial hones in on Upton’s best assets — which certainly isn’t a bad thing.
In the Steven Meisel-lensed “Miss Kate Upton” spread, the Michigan native poses provocatively in second skin latex, sheer bodysuits, and figure-hugging dresses. Upton is hardly emblematic of the “average” American female, but her figure is refreshing and it sells the clothing well. That said, there is one image we don’t quite get. We’ve seen one-shoulder dresses before — but one boob? That’s a new one.
