The Church Of Scientology Auditioned Katie Holmes To Be Tom Cruise’s Wife

News of TomKat‘s divorce was nothing short of shocking, and now the details are beginning to emerge. Sources are saying that Katie Holmes was essentially scripted into Tom Cruise‘s life by the Church of Scientology. In addition, the couple’s prenup stipulated that Holmes would get $3 million for every year she stayed with Cruise, and a lot more if she and Tom made little Scientologist babies.

And the church may have orchestrated numerous relationships for Cruise before this one. According to the New York Post, the church was behind Cruise’s sudden divorce from then-pregnant Nicole Kidman, his wife of 10 years, because she didn’t fully embrace Scientology (or rather, didn’t embrace only Scientology).

After that, the church went on a hunt to find Cruise a suitable spouse. They did this by luring actresses to Scientology’s Celebrity Centre in Hollywood to “audition” them to be Cruise’s wife. Among the women the church tested out before finding Holmes were Penelope Cruz and Sofia Vergara, but neither wanted to convert. So, when they came across an interview Holmes gave in which she said she would like to marry Cruise — that it had been her dream as a little girl to marry the actor, who is 17 years her senior — it was a done deal.

Holmes is seeking full custody of the couple’s 6-year-old daughter Suri, and Us Weekly reports that she has rented an apartment in Manhattan so they will have a stable home during the divorce. But this move isn’t just about not wanting to share. Scientologists subject children ages 6 and up to “sec checks”, a long series of questioning designed to make the person being questioned divulge anything they may be hiding or ashamed of — an “ethical” inquisition. Not something we would want to put a child through, either.

    There was a time when we had deprogrammer’s for cult members, & we also tried our best to stop other young people from joining cults. Now the powers that be simply turn a blind eye, & let cults like Scientology, JW, & Mormonism, lure the gullible in freely.

    I would not be so quick to call Mormonism a cult, unless of course, you are like the libs doing it for political reason.  You know, the libs who believe in religous freedom for anyone muslim or liberal, but not for the rest of the world.  Mormonism at least it is based on Jesus Christ and his teachings.  Scientology is based on a science fiction writer’s imagination.  Oh, that aliens from another planet.

    Also, Katie was tired of the “minders” following her around. These are the cult members that make sure you tow the cult propaganda line. Don’t believe me, look at some of the shows she did for Oprah. There were two minders there to keep an eye on her.

    Whoa- I just saw this post. If by JW you mean Jehovah’s Witness, it’s not a cult it’s a form of Christianity. All they do is try to follow the Bible as closely as imperfect humans can… Does that make them a cult?? All the other ones- yeah, they’re all cults.
