Katrina Darling is Kate Middleton‘s cousin, once removed, and she’s using her ties to the royal family (loose though they may be) to make some serious cash. The banker-turned-burlesque dancer posed for the September 2012 cover of Playboy and an eight-page spread inside the issue in exchange for what was reportedly a six-figure sum.

Though none of the 22-year-old’s shots contain full-frontal nudity, she does appear topless in one of them, and in any case we doubt the royal family is pleased to be associated with the rag, especially in an editorial titled “God Save The Queen.”

    I doubt the royal family really cares as they’re not related to Ms. Darling.
    Ms. Middleton & Ms. Darling are second cousins who did not know each other existed, until the royal wedding.
    Unfortunately Ms. Darling has proven she’s not interested in wanting to know Ms. Middleton as a family member, she’d much rather milk her very remote ties to Ms. Middleton’s name & the royal family, for all its worth.
