PHOTOS: Katy Perry Goes Ginger For The September Cover Of L’Officiel

Woah, KP! This is a new look. While we’ve seen her sport every hair color from bubblegum pink to platinum blonde to not-so-shrinking violet, this is the first time Katy Perry has gone for a ‘do quite this orange. Channeling everyone’s favorite naked royal Prince Harry, perhaps? Or maybe Vogue‘s Grace Coddington?

The September cover of Paris-based mag L’Officiel shows the pop star in a softer light than we’re used to seeing her, especially compared to the disco-goth look she’s rocking on the this month’s issue of Elle. Her pumpkin locks are paired with a peachy Louis Vuitton pre-Fall 2012 dress (last seen on Glee‘s Dianna Agron), and sneak previews from inside the issue show her in what appears to be a lacy orb of a fascinator, as well as a stunning Gucci runway ensemble teamed with a feathered eye piece.
