PHOTOS: Katy Perry’s Drastic Makeover For Vogue Italia

Katy Perry is a total chameleon when it comes to fashion and beauty. Case in point: the July issue of Vogue Italia, in which she is almost, awesomely, unrecognizable.

For her spread, Perry dons bleach blonde and pink wigs, and wears fancy duds by Jil Sander, Comme Des Garçons, Valentino, and Oscar de la Renta. The pop star also sports serious cat-eyes and falsies — a combo that would be insanely hard to pull off in real life, but works really well editorially. The whole look feels like a mash-up of Anna Wintour, Anna Dello Russo, and Twiggy.

In the corresponding interview, Perry chats about her personal style:

“It all depends on how I am when I wake up. But, by and large, I like anything that is fun. One of my favorite American designers is Jeremy Scott: I adore him because he doesn’t play along, and I do the same.”
