For a couple that generally likes to be all up in our grills, Katy Perry and Russell Brand kept their wedding details uncharacteristically under wraps. The nuptials went down in India on Saturday, and we obviously want to know what everyone wore.

1. The wedding was held in Ranthambore, India.
The couple released this statement: "“Russell Brand and Katy Perry are overjoyed to confirm that they were pronounced Mr. and Mrs. Brand on October 23. The very private and spiritual ceremony, attended by the couples' closest family and friends was performed by a Christian minister and longtime friend of the Hudson Family. The backdrop was the inspirational and majestic countryside of Northern India."
2. Katy wore a fall 2010 Elie Saab couture gown.
We thought Katy was going to wear Galliano . We were wrong. The intrepid folks over at Grazia Daily have identified Katy's dress as this one from Elie Saab's fall 2010 couture collection. We love the dove gray color! Katy reportedly wore a blue sari earlier in the day.
3. Katy and Russell sort of embraced local wedding customs.
Though it initially looked like Katy got a traditional Indian bridal nose ring, Jezebel debunked this myth: she's just wearing some embellished sunglasses. Relatedly, Russell got a henna tat on his hand for the occasion — a tradition usually reserved for brides. What tricksters!
4. They gave out Silly Bandz as party favors!
AWESOME .
