PHOTOS: Kerry Washington’s Django Red Carpet Takeover
Kerry Washington has always looked good on the red carpet, but she has been nailing it for Django Unchained these past few premieres. As such, we’d like to take a few moments to drool over every single one.
Washington started her tour on January 4 at a photocall in Rome, Italy where she paired a ruffled asymmetrical Peter Pilotto dress from the spring 2013 collection with Nicholas Kirkwood pumps. The black and white print, combined with neon green ruffles across the skirt and around the hem, and the blue, white, and black stripe across the bodice (whew!) would normally seem like a bad Project Runway design, but somehow Pilotto just made it work and Washington pulled it off with ease.
For the official premiere later that night, Washington chose a white Prada dress with a keyhole center and cut-outs at the side. She was sexy yet demure, and we love ourselves a good LWD.
In Paris, Washington continued her love affair with prints in a strapless Rochas number. The sweetheart neckline and A-line silhouette avoided veering into prom territory thanks to a corset-like bodice and cool abstract print.
At the next stop in Berlin, Washington rocked not one, but two ensembles. The first was a long-sleeved, cream and beige checked Louis Vuitton shift dress with white heels and a matching bow headband, and the second was orange floral J. Mendel gown that actually looked like a tank-and-skirt combo. Sneaky!
And last but certainly not the least, the Django star looked like a dream in a Giles Deacon confection in London last night. Between the simple white top, the soft horse print, the bubble hem, and the berry lips, we are just in love with this look.
